Delete your data
You can delete your Nouri data at any time. Here's how, and what happens next.

The short version
- Delete any time, in the app with two taps, or by email.
- Your diary lives on your phone, so deleting in the app removes it straight away.
- Emails to us are deleted within 7 days of your request.
1. Delete in the app
- Open Nouri and tap Me in the bottom menu.
- Tap Delete all my data.
- Confirm with Delete. Everything Nouri stored is removed from your phone straight away, and Nouri starts fresh.
Nouri does not have accounts yet, so there is nothing stored with us to delete. Uninstalling the app also removes its data from your phone.
2. Phone backups
If your phone backs up apps to Google or iCloud, an older copy of Nouri's data may stay in that backup until it is replaced. You can manage or delete backups in your phone's settings.
3. Data we hold about you
The only personal data we may hold is emails you sent us. To delete them, email [email protected] from the same address, with the subject "Delete my Nouri data". To protect you, we may ask you to confirm it is you. We complete requests within 7 days and email you when it is done.
4. What is deleted

5. Subscriptions
Premium is not on sale yet. When it is, deleting your data will not cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription, so cancel it first in your store account: on Android, open Google Play, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions; on iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
6. When accounts arrive
When Nouri adds accounts, you will be able to delete your account in the app under Me, or by email as above. We will update this page first, including how long it takes to remove your data from our systems and backups.
